Description

Everywhere the Italian army under Mussolini fought,be it in Spain, Ethiopia, Egypt, Libya, Greece, Russia and the rest,  the L3-35 was there. This is personally one of my favorite tanks because I love how unique it was, minus the endless list of disadvantages. The L3-35. It was a light tank that was so light it technically wasn't a tank, it was a Tankette. If you ask me the main problem of the L3-35 was that its design philosophy was perfect for WW1, NOT WW2. This was a problem many italian tanks had, minus the semovente tank destroyers and late war Italian P40 tank. The Italian Army fought very bravely in WW2, but was horribly equipped  and under terrible leadership.
